Myah makes wearable art. She has designed numerous costumes for theatre and performance art productions.
Her Recyclone line of clothing and costume accessories utilizes as many recycled parts as possible. Many of the
elements of her costuming work carry over into the clothing line as well.

For Myah, her creative process is about living art. She says, "Just fill ever moment with magic and realize the
beauty and preciousness. It's about self-discovery through creativity. I really believe it's all that you make it,
whether you're interacting with others or youself, being expressive and creative is the only way to get the source.”

Myah had a fahion show/performance piece this past November at the Joli Rouge in Asheville. To see some pictures from the show, click here.

Myah Hubbell is an old mountain goat. But actually, she's 25 (that's
pretty old in goat years). She's been making costumes for about nine
years, and designing Recyclone, her own line of clothing for the past
four years. She has recently partnered with designer Pal Shazar on
a new line of clothing called Pouvre Moi.

In addition to her fashion design work, Myah has a variety of other
artistic endeavors. She has written and performed music with several
bands, including Synchro-Subito (with Julia Taylor) and Pale Broody
Hen (with Corrinne Shields and Stacy Morgan). Her instruments
include voice accordian, piano, clarinet, toys and delay, and guitar.
She also creates Super 8 stop-motion films, and video collages.

Myah is also mother to a four and a half-year old daughter named Cedar. Cedar is a developing artist and musician
in her own right. Myah says, "Cedar lives art, constantly using her imagination. Children live art, and as we get older,
most of us forget how to do that, and they're good reminders of it."
