Singing Bowls originated in the Far East and are used by Tibetan monks and other spiritual traditions for healing and meditation. In ancient times they were used in sound ceremonies and rituals. Today they are used by massage and sound therapists to heal as the sound is not only heard but felt on a cellular level. The notes contain many over and undertones and connect to the chakra system in the body. They are also useful in stopping the “monkey chatter” within our heads and bring a sense of calmness and clarity.
