The I AM Gathering is what we all
make it: if you would like to contribute in any way, from performance
to theme tent to playing music to teaching a workshop, please contact

If you have to travel to reach our
gathering, we can help find crash space (both at the gathering and
elsewhere); just let us know!

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
There is still plenty of FREE SPACE for you to do whatever you feel
called to do, whether it be DJing a set, playing live music, running
an improv contact dance session, spreading out paper on the floor
and tracing people's silhouettes... It is truly up to you! Just
please let either PanDoor or Ilsa know what you would like to do
and when, and we can put it on the schedule.
All day
Friday:
Setup - Come, all ye artists! Hang your art! Set up your Theme Tents!
Friday 6-7:30:
Capoeira class (regularly scheduled). No access to the Green Studio
at this time.
Friday 8-11pm:
Doors open for free Gallery Exhibit.
Blue Spectral Monkey (and maybe Don) play a delicious, groovy soundscape
Ambrosia's Delights whips out delectable, bite-size treats
Friday, 11pm:
Gallery show closes; we kick out the people that don't want to be
there the rest of the weekend.
Saturday, 10-11am:
Free Kiddie Capoeira class!
Saturday 11am-1pm:
ADOPT AN ARTIST: KID EVENT
Children are blessed with unfettered imaginations, but the one thing
kids don't usually have is the motor control or skill to bring their
visions to life. As adult artists, we may have wild imaginations
but we sometimes need a fresh perspective to break out of our boxes.
This playshop is a creativity exercise for adults, and for children
a chance to direct a collaborative art project. Artists, put yourselves
up for adoption! Kids will each pick one artist to help them acheive
a vision, using the artists' skills (and supplies).

Lifeline Drawing Workshop with PanDoor
This workshop involves visually expressing your personal timeline
(past, present, and future(s)), with an emphasis on significant
event that affected your evolution. Afterwards, we will share our
timelines with other participants. Bring paper and drawing tools
if you can.
Saturday, 4-5pm:
Kundalini Yoga workshop with Melanie
Saturday, 5-6:30pm:
Altar: The Game!
Help Ilsa figure out how to turn altar making and vibrational design
into a puzzle game. Bring some fun altar items to use as examples.
This is a game Ilsa hopes to launch at Transformus and/or Burning
Man. Should be right up your alley, Ashevillains!
